The game is played by comparing the cards dealt to each Player (“Hand”) to the cards dealt to the Dealer (“Dealer’s Hand”). The Joker cards play a major role in the game as they are used as a Bonus Hand. The Joker cards are also “wild”, meaning they can be substituted for any card in the game.

A Dealer deals cards to Players and there are multiple opportunities for Players to improve their Hand by discarding one-card in discard rounds. At the end of the Players Hand rounds, the Dealer will show their Hand and draw cards also to improve their chances. A Player wins the game if their Hand is ranked higher than the Dealer. The Dealer wins the game if their Hand ranks higher than the Player. If the two Hands are equally ranked, it is a Push/Tie and no one wins and all wagers are returned to the Player.

WAGERING/CHIPS

Jokers Trio will have a wagering element that will consist of game chips put in by the players to participate in the game. Each chip will represent a specified value as displayed by the game played by the hosting body or “House”. The Players must meet the minimum wager to participate in the game. The Players may increase their wager at specific times identified in the rules below under BONUS WAGERS and the BURN CARD ROUNDS. If a Player wins a Game, they will win their chips wagered with bonus (if applicable). If a Player loses a Game, the Dealer will confiscate their wager.

BONUS/INSURANCE WAGERS

Jokers Trio will incorporate a Bonus Wager bet where a Player will have an opportunity to multiply their winnings when they receive a specific scenario or Hand in the game. The Player must place their Bonus Wager bet prior to receiving their cards and cannot place any more Bonus Wagers once game play has begun. The Bonus Wager odds and multipliers will be displayed by the “House” or governing body that is hosting the game on the game table or via other signage stated. This bet will also act as insurance against the Dealer receiving one Joker card. If dealer receives two Joker cards the insurance will not apply and player will lose their hand.
